Located just 35 minutes from the Perth CBD, the State Equestrian Centre (SEC) is one of Western Australia's premier equestrian sport and multipurpose events facilities. Featuring a fully enclosed indoor arena with 1400 spectator capacity, multiple all-weather outdoor arenas, multipurpose grass fields, FEI3* cross country course, stables, licensed bar facilities and meeting/training rooms, the SEC is a fully equipped facility ready to accommodate a diverse range of equestrian and non-equestrian events.

A big thank you to Stewie from KAMCO Arenas!

With the 2026 State Dressage Championships just around the corner, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes to ensure the State Equestrian Centre is ready for a big weekend of competition.

Stewie has come to the rescue, lending his time and expertise to assist with maintenance and preparation of our International Arena ahead of the Championships.

We’re incredibly appreciative of Stewie’s support and willingness to lend a hand when we needed it most. It’s support like this from our equestrian community that helps us present the SEC at its best for our riders, horses and spectators.

Thank you Stewie and Kamco Arenas for getting in and getting the job done — we really appreciate it!

Show Horse Western Australia is making the State Equestrian Centre home this weekend for their Horse and Rider of the Year, alongside squad training earlier in the week.

We’re also proud to welcome the WA Horse Council Pass Wide & Slow Awareness Ride this Sunday!
