We’re proud to see our Women’s Head Coach Emma Stanbury continuing the important work she does as a Past Player PFA Ambassador and R U OK? Ambassador.
This photo was taken during a wellbeing and mental health talk Emma delivered to the Western Sydney Wanderers Women's squad, sharing an important message with players and continuing the work she does across the game.
It’s a great reminder of why this message matters so much to us at Virginia United FC.
We want every member of our club, from players and coaches to volunteers and parents, to know that it’s okay to not be okay, and that simply asking R U OK? can make a real difference.
We’re also fortunate to have strong support within our club. Our Member Protection Officer Ash has a background in mental resilience training and is someone our club community can turn to for support and guidance.
So don’t be afraid to ask the question.
