Great BNR Pennants match against McIlwraith Croquet Club - Blue! After trailing 2–4, we fought back to draw 5–5 and took the overall hoops 54 v 48.

A big thanks to our Team — Anne, Cheryl, Evan, Arthur, + our other 2026 members Frances, Marie & John — who have all been part of keeping us leading the Div 3 Comp with 4 wins from 4 matches played! 🏆👏

McIlwraith call themselves the friendliest club, and they certainly showed it today. From Tony sharing tips on how the lawn rolls as we walked out for our first singles game, to their gallery applauding not only their own players' good shots, but ours too. Fantastic sportsmanship, and always a pleasure for Toombul to play against them! 🤝👏

Toombul Hosted the CAQ - AC Mixed Doubles over the Week End with some hard fought matches on display. Congratulations to - WINNERS: Shane Davis & Yuni Rowell RUNNERS UP: Greg Bury & Francesca de Wytt. Photos of the Winners and some Action Shorts including a great shot of someones Back Swing!

SIX of our members had a Great Day at the BNR Friendship Day Held at McIlwraith Croquet Club on the EKKA Day. Donna Won the Individual Trophy, Strawberry Bookends, for the most Points Collected over a series of 10 Fun Events over the day. Great food and Great Company and a very well organised event. Well Done McIlwraith Croquet Club.

Toombul Croquet is Starting a Monthly Medal in August so that our Members can Experience Competition Play and a little Record Keeping. Not too Serious, bit of Fun and Learning along the way. The Next step is to join the Pennants Team.

We played a Pennants Round on Sunday against Merthyr Croquet Club . All the games were certainly hard fought, tight games with Toombul Winning 6 games to 4. 👏
