A huge thank you to Liam Paro for spending time with the boxing community at our Neon Boxing Classic last Saturday. 🥊

From photos and autographs to words of encouragement and genuine conversations, Liam made time for everyone… inspiring the next generation of athletes and reminding young boxers what dedication, humility and hard work look like.

As one of Australia’s finest fighters, Liam is now preparing for another massive moment in his career when he challenges Lewis Crocker for the IBF Welterweight World Title on June 24 in Brisbane.

With the chance to become just the second Australian-born male boxer to win world titles in two weight divisions, we’re proud to have had him share his time with our athletes and spectators.

The inaugural NEON BOXING CLASSIC is officially in the books!

650+ hyped-up spectators
88 talented athletes
44 fantastically matched bouts
31 grassroots clubs across Qld
1 former IBF World Champion

And … A fight of the night that had the crowd on its feet and the venue shaking.

What stood out most wasn’t the crowd, the results or even the incredible boxing… it was the atmosphere!

From the first bell to the last, The Link at YMCA was packed with energy, excitement and unwavering support. Athletes gave everything in the ring, supporters filled the venue with noise, and the boxing community came together to create something truly special.

This is exactly what we hoped THE NEON BOXING CLASSIC would be 💚

We witnessed incredible performances, showcase bouts, exclusive NEON medals, ring boys/girls stealing the show with their struts, an incredible raffle, Liam Paro inspiring athletes throughout the evening, and a crowd-favourite main event where Kipa “Tha Ripa” Keremete defeated Australia’s current number one-ranked 70kg boxer in a performance that brought the house down.
