Just a reminder of your 2026/27 committee as there has been a couple updates since the initial announcements

The seasons committee is as follows

President- Austin Goss
Vice President- Roy Christie
Treasurer- Sam Grime
Secretary- Mathew Sewell
Equipment/Property Manager- Dan Fry
Women’s Liaison- Mel Sheedy
Junior Liaison- Dave Visser
General Committee Members- Jason VanNierop and Barry “Grub” Kelson

Thank you to all the new faces who’ve jumped on the committee or taken new roles within the club this year

There’ll be a lot of changes happening around the club this year with the addition of a 3rd practice net, new shed and change rooms in the near future

There’ll also be our usual big fundraising events such as the Brunswick Show and Brunswick Rodeo cleanups as well as a couple others throughout the year so please if you do have the time jump in and lend a hand where you can

We look forward to what this season brings for our club and can’t wait to see you all down at The Hive

The seasons only just around the corner everyone so if you haven’t yet registered and are keen to play please get your regos in asap as we are looking to field 3 seniors men’s sides there is a link pinned to the clubs page

Also for those who’ve missed the post a couple weeks ago men’s training has started we are just doing every Thursday until the season starts and once it does it’ll be Monday and Thursday training starts at 4:30pm

Massive shoutout to the team at VMG and Roberts Tilt Trays for the assistance in getting us a sea container at the oval so we can temporarily store our gear whilst the process of facility upgrades gets under way

For any of your sea container needs please hit up VMG and they’ll help you out as best they can

We are on the hunt for someone to run our blasters program this year (must have a working with children clearance)

This is a great way for kids to have fun and learn some cricket skills

Sessions are once a week and start mid-late October (can either start term 4 or term 1 or a combination of both)

We are on the hunt for new players as we are looking to field 3 senior men’s as well as a women’s team a.k.a Queen Bees teams this year.

If you’ve ever thought about giving cricket a go feel free to contact the club page and have a chat.

All new and returning players are welcome we train Mondays and Thursdays at the Burekup nets starting on the 27th of August from 4:30pm.

Senior registration is now open

It’s time to get the bag out of storage dust off the pads and get fired up for another season at The Hive.

If you’ve thought about giving cricket a go, looking at switching club or are returning from last season we welcome all to join us at Burekup Cricket Club.

Please note when registering to look at the info on there as we’ve updated our fee structure to try help accommodate those who are shift/fifo workers so please read through that.
