A special shoutout also goes to Calvin Henry and Travis Coombes who have been selected as Head Coaches at this event.

🏀2026 JAMBOREE🏀

As we tip off a new season on the Country Victoria calendar, we say congratulations to our youngest ProAdvance Mildura Junior Heat ballers for selection to attend the 2026 Jamboree this Saturday 19-22 in Echuca!

The Jamboree is a key event on the junior basketball calendar, providing 120 boys and 120 girls with their first taste of the Victorian High Performance pathway, chosen from the U12 Skills Day held earlier this year.

Good luck to Sophie, Laurene, Rylee, Thea, Isabella, Jordan, Brody and Olly. We know you’ll have heaps of fun while developing your skills!

📣2026 Gold Nugget Selections

Congratulations to the following ProAdvance Mildura Junior Heat athletes who have been selected to attend the Basketball Victoria Gold Nugget Camp:

Up for grabs is selection into teams that will play in the 2027 Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup (ACJBC) which is held in Albury every January or the 2027 Southern Cross Challenge (SCC) which will be held at the State Basketball Centre also in January.

Good luck in Ballarat this September 23-24! We are extremely proud to see your hard work and commitment recognised.
