A massive congratulations to our Byford LAC athlete 𝗖𝗵𝗹𝗼𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀, who is in Malaysia as part of the Junior International Tour.

Chloe is part of a team representing WA competing in Kuala Lumpur on a tour that is replacing the cancelled Malaysia/Singapore/WA International Schools Challenge.

We also extend our congratulations also to Erica Bevis who was once again selected as one of the Team Managers heading over.

Cross Country Winter Series #2 - Zuvela Ponds The Second Cross Country Event of the 2026 Winter Season Powered by Qbit is set to take place at Zuvela Ponds. Hosted by Ridgewood Little Athletics Centre and Athletics West.

Despite Perth's cold and wet conditions, our Byford LA race walkers showed great determination at 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 #𝟏 at Perry Lakes on Saturday!

A fantastic effort from both athletes, whose hard work and determination continue to shine. We are proud to see them representing Byford Little Athletics Club so well! 🩶🩵❤️🖤

Congratulations to Chloe Bevis, who achieved a Season’s Best in the Girls U13–U15 3km event.

A special shout-out to Darcy Bramwell-Keys, who took out the Girls U15–Open 5km race. To win as the youngest athlete in the field, and in only her second-ever 5km race, is an incredible achievement and a testament to her hard work and determination. 👏👏

Leila was recently named Emerging Official of the Year at the Athletics West Awards! 🏆

This award recognises individuals who have shown outstanding dedication, officiating talent and growth within the WA athletics community throughout the season — and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving.

Leila’s passion, commitment and support for our athletes and club continues to make a huge impact, and we are so excited to have her returning as Head Coach for the 2026/27 season.
