A huge congratulations to our very own Cienna on being selected to perform in the Victorian State Ballet’s production of Aladdin 🩰✨
Thank you to Barbara Todd Ballet and the Victorian State Ballet for providing such an incredible opportunity for young dancers in our community.

✨ DANCELIFE UNITE PERFORMANCE WEEKEND IS HERE! ✨
Good luck to all our dancers competing this weekend!
As you head into a big few days of performing, this is your reminder to take care of your body and mind so you can perform at your best.
✔️ Fuel your body with nutritious meals and snacks
✔️ Stay hydrated throughout the day
✔️ Prioritise rest and recovery between performances
✔️ Be mindful of your load outside of dance to help prevent stress and injuries
Most importantly… have fun! 🤍🤍
You’ve put in the hard work. Now it’s time to get on stage, trust your training, support your teammates and enjoy every moment. We can’t wait to watch you shine✨✨

At IPA, we believe being a great dancer is about more than just steps and skills ✨
Things like kindness, respect, listening, encouraging teammates and showing good sportsmanship are just as important as strong technique. Studio etiquette helps create a positive environment where every dancer feels supported, safe and confident to learn.
Simple things like cheering each other on, listening while teachers are speaking, arriving prepared and respecting the studio space all help build the culture we’re so proud of at IPA.
Technique creates strong dancers, but good character and teamwork create great role models 🤍

THIS WEEK AT IPA:
🩰 Costumes have arrived (woo hoo!) and the remainder is on the way! Families, please keep an eye on your inboxes as we will begin sending through important updates and information
🩰 Dance Life Unite is THIS weekend and we cannot wait to see our dancers back on stage doing what they love
🩰 We’re officially only 7 weeks away from STDE opening… EEEEEEEEEEEE!
🩰 Updated staff photos are done and will be hitting the studio shortly
🩰 We held a staff meeting today focused around safeguarding our children, along with reviewing studio systems and protocols. Proud to say the team did an amazing job on our compliance questionnaire 👏🏻
…with the exception of Miss Jessie 🫣
Question: “Who do you contact if you can’t make your scheduled teaching class?”
Miss Jessie’s answer:
“Pretend your phone went flat" (she is totally joking by the way haha)
See you in class 💫

20 years of dedication, passion, friendships, hard work and memories 💫
We’re celebrating some special dancers who have been part of the dance community for TWO DECADES 🤯🖤
From tiny dancers finding their feet, to the incredible humans and performers they are today, it has been such a privilege to watch their journey unfold over the years.
20 years of classes.
20 years of competitions.
20 years of laughs, growth, challenges, performances and community.
We are so proud of the dancers, role models and people you’ve become ✨
Join us in congratulating 20 years for these dancers 🤍👏
