Breathe with intention and awareness.
Focusing on your breathe is a life changing tool that is literally with you every second of your life. You can use it to slow down and down regulate your nervous system and you can use it to invigorate and energise your body.
Next time your in a stressed state follow these steps:
β’ Set a 2 minute timer
β’ Place your hands anywhere on your body
β’ Count the seconds as you inhale
β’ Count the seconds as you exhale
β’ Now lengthen your exhale by 1 second
β’ Keep breathing like this until your timer softly sounds
In breath 4 seconds
Out breath 5 seconds
