LIONEL VERO —
A dancer since the age of six, Lionel has always been immersed in the world of music and dance.

This self-taught dancer specializes in urban African dances (Afro) such as N’dombolo, Coupé Décalé, Afrohouse, Kuduro, Azonto, Afrobeats, and Amapiano. He also practices Hip Hop, Dancehall, and Reggaeton.

As a dancer, instructor, and choreographer, he is considered a pioneer and a major figure in African urban dance, and is recognized as one of the forerunners of the Afro Fusion movement on the international stage.

He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the Afro-Caribbean music scene through concerts, television shows, radio programs, music videos, musicals, and more. He is the creator of Invictus Crew, Fuzao Fitness, L’Atelier de Paris, and the Afro Dances Festival. ✨🌟✨

Bringing home second place in all three routines is a huge accomplishment and a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and heart these performers put into every rehearsal. Beyond the results, they took away invaluable new skills and amazing friendships that will last far beyond the competition.
