2026 RAD exams done! ✅

The biggest congratulations to all of our wonderful examinees—you've done it! We are so incredibly proud of you! There were nerves, excitement, plenty of sighs of relief, but most importantly, so much encouragement and support for one another before and after the exams. 💙

Sabrina, Freya, Sarah-Kate, Shaelin, Holly, Carolyn and Jacinta completed Grade 3.

For many of these dancers, this exam came not long after beginning their ballet journey, with most starting ballet as complete adult beginners. To step into an RAD exam takes courage, commitment and countless hours of hard work, and watching your growth has been so rewarding. 🩰

Susan completed Discovering Repertoire Level 3—all by herself! An incredible achievement that takes so much determination, and we couldn't be prouder. ✨

A huge thank you to Leah, Jess and Caitlin for your wonderful teaching, guidance and encouragement throughout the year, and to Carys for running our mock exams and helping everyone feel as prepared and confident as possible.

A brand-new, two-day dance festival bringing leading local and interstate artists right here to the nation's capital.
It's always been a dream of ours to create more opportunities for adult dancers to learn from the best without having to travel interstate, and seeing this come to life feels pretty magical.

Whether you're looking to build strong ballet foundations or continue your training through a structured syllabus, our Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) classes are welcoming new enrolments.

This term we're also excited to welcome 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟰 back to our timetable, creating an even stronger pathway for adult dancers.

Our current RAD classes include:

RAD classes offer a consistent syllabus that allows you to build confidence and technique while progressing at your own pace. Examinations are completely optional, making these classes perfect whether you're dancing for enjoyment or working towards a goal.

Please note these are 𝟭𝟬-𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 and cannot be attended using class passes.

Dance Teacher Job in Canberra ACT - SEEK Experienced ballet teacher wanted for Saturdays at Canberra's leading adults only dance studio.

✨ One week since the snow settled... ✨

We've (just) recovered, and now we're starting to look back on what an incredible season of The Nutcracker in July 2026 it was. ❤️❄️

Six months of rehearsals, countless hours of preparation, and four magical performances across two weekends. Every single dancer poured their heart into this production, and we couldn't be prouder of what you achieved. Watching your confidence, growth and joy shine on stage was so special.

To our incredible teachers—thank you. Your passion, patience and dedication gave our dancers the confidence to step onto the stage and give it their all. The choreography this year was truly something special.

To everyone who came along to watch, thank you for supporting our dancers and our studio. Live theatre simply wouldn't exist without an audience, and your encouragement means the world to our performers and our small business.

A huge thank you to Gungahlin College Theatre for hosting us, to Sidestage for once again bringing the production to life with outstanding lighting and sound, and to our in-house photographer and videographer, Billy, for the enormous amount of work you put in both behind the scenes and during the performances.

And finally, congratulations to our Director, Anouska, and Assistant Director, Carys. The love, time and dedication you both pour into this production never goes unnoticed. Every year the show grows—becoming more polished, more ambitious and more magical than the last—and that's because of your vision and commitment.

We ask that when you sign up you're committing to all five rehearsals, as every week builds on the last. That said, we know life happens! If you already know you'll need to miss one rehearsal, please don't let that stop you from joining us—just let us know.

With Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Lyrical and Contemporary on offer, there's something for everyone. Best of all, every course is open level, meaning dancers of all experience levels are welcome to jump in and be part of the fun.
