A massive congratulations to MKII on an unforgettable World Hip Hop Championships campaign. That Semi Final performance was NEXT LEVEL! This team proved exactly what can happen when talent, discipline, trust and serious work come together. You have displayed true fearlessness and growth on and off the stage.
And now, the next chapter begins.
MKII is expanding into a MEGA CREW for an action-packed five-week program, culminating in performances at Danchella and Upgrade on the Gold Coast.

The Adult Division begins at 9:00am AEST on Wednesday 29 July. MKII will compete 43rd out of 63 crews, so we estimate they will take the stage at approximately 10:30am.

ADVANCED PRO WITH TIANA RAKEI
Three-time World Hip Hop Championships representative. Five+ years teaching across Canberra. Justice Crew support act. Music video performer. And still constantly evolving her craft.
Tiana Rakei has represented Australia with Dance Central at Worlds in 2015, 2017 and 2024, opened for Justice Crew in both 2025 and 2026, and appeared in a music video for local rock band Hands Like Houses.
Her classes bring strong training, performance quality, creativity and the kind of energy that pushes you to level up.

And training starts when we land.
But this video is about everything that happened before this moment.
The sacrifices. The setbacks. The hours nobody saw. The blood, sweat and a few tears. Trying to find that elusive “balance” while doing what it takes to train as both a dancer and an athlete at world standard.
Because nobody sees this part.
Nobody sees every late night, every extra training session, every injury, every doubt, every sacrifice or every time you choose to show up anyway.
And an incredible team isn’t created by magic either.
It’s built.
Through hard work.

She represented Australia on the world stage with ONYX at the 2024 World Hip Hop Championships in the U.S.A, opened for Justice Crew this year and now shares her passion across our Crew, R***e and Dance Central programs.
