We are still absolutely gushing with pride and joy over the performances at R***e last Sunday. We felt this Dolly quote fit perfectly, because we can't express enough how amazing it was to see every dancer show their individuality and be themselves on that Desire stage.

It is so beautiful to see how different, unique, and individual every person and dancer was on that stage, and that's all we could hope for. In the wise words of Dolly Parton, a true expert in relishing in your YOU-ness, "find out who you are and do it on purpose" 💞

Liptember raises awareness and funds for women’s mental health, with the campaign highlighting the fact that 1 in 2 Australian women will experience mental health issues in their lifetime.

So grab your brightest lippy and come shake it with the Ritmo team in a 50-minute Zumba class at 10 am on Sunday 27 September right here at Dance Central.

It’s $18 per person with all profits going towards Liptember.

To every adult dancer who said YES to six weeks of training, creating, pushing outside their comfort zone and ultimately stepping onto that stage, we are insanely proud of you.
It takes real courage to perform. To put yourself out there. To trust the process. To be vulnerable. And then to absolutely GO FOR IT. And you did.

The feedback has been incredible; the polish, the quality, the performances, the atmosphere… and over and over again, THE VIBE.

What would we be without our amazing community? To everyone who filled the theatre, cheered loudly, supported our performers and brought so much love and energy into that room — THANK YOU. You helped make DESIRE what it was.

R***e rehearsals are wrapping up… and it’s nearly show time!

The final rehearsals are underway, the routines are coming together, and our performers are putting the finishing touches on what promises to be an incredible show! 🎶

After weeks of hard work, rehearsals, laughs, corrections and plenty of repetition, we’re almost ready to take the stage. 🎭
