Norths Basketball Club The Norths Basketball Club is based in Gungahlin in the ACT Norths does not deliver basketball competitions in Canberra.

The Norths Basketball Club is a not-for-profit volunteer managed community sports organisation, based in Gungahlin in the Australian Capital Territory. The Club operates in and primarily supports the Gungahlin Region of Canberra, although will support anybody who wishes to play with the Club regardless of where they live. The Club is a full member organisation of Basketball ACT (BACT) and fields a large number of teams in competitions provided by BACT. Our role is to facilitate the joining of interested players into the competitions that are provided by BACT. We provide the selection process for placing players into appropriate teams, coaching, developing and training teams, and entering those teams into BACT competitions. With over 350 players and 40 teams across the Junior and Senior divisions ranging from social to Premier League grades, Norths is one of the major basketball clubs in the ACT.

What a way to finish an incredible season! πŸ’™πŸ€

Our Norths U14 Boys JPL are your 2026 Winter Champions after defeating the Tuggeranong Vikings 86–66 in today’s Grand Final.

The boys came out ready to play, leading 25–17 after the first before a huge second quarter, 24–8, gave Norths a 49–25 lead at half-time.

Vikings kept coming after the break, but the boys stayed composed, trusted each other and finished the job to cap off a brilliant season.

⭐ GRAND FINAL MVP - ZACHARY DYSKA ⭐

Zach was outstanding on the biggest stage, leading Norths with 25 points to earn Grand Final MVP honours, adding to an incredible season after also being named the U14 JPL Regular Season Best & Fairest.

A huge individual season, capped off with the ultimate team reward. πŸ†

Your Norths Premier 1 Men are GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS once again! πŸ’™πŸ€

Norths defeated Ginninderra Rats 83–68 to secure a THIRD consecutive Premier 1 Championship and they had to earn this one.

Trailing 46–35 at half-time, the boys came out firing after the break, dominating the second half 48–22, including a huge 28 point final quarter to turn an
11 point halftime deficit into a 15 point Grand Final victory.

⭐ GRAND FINAL MVP: WILL RICE ⭐

Will finished with 20 points in a huge performance to earn Grand Final MVP honours.

Your Norths Premier 1 Women are CHAMPIONS once again! πŸ’™πŸ€

A dominant Grand Final performance from start to finish, defeating the Queanbeyan Roadrunners
89 - 49 to make it FOUR consecutive Premier 1 Championships.

Norths came out firing with a 23-9 opening quarter, took a 50–28 lead into half-time and never looked back, finishing with a huge 40 point Grand Final victory.

Tyler led the way with 19 points in a brilliant Grand Final performance to earn MVP honours.
