Nothing. Absolutely nothing is more motivating then seeing my stage photos from last competition and knowing I can out work her πππ
As I transition into a stage of my life where a lot of commitment is desired, I must also be committed to myself π
Surgery for me is coming up and it means I cannot train for 1-2 months. So.. Guess what I'm going to do?! A shred challenge! Keeps me motivated as well as my boyfriend πππ

Arnold Classic Update π
Keeping myself accountable with these updates and keep myself motivated. As well as all of you!
So I'm at 11 weeks out this week. Stats are in again from InBody Scan. Since last Sunday I've dropped 1.2% in Body Fat! Woop woop. Even after all that Christmas food.. π·
If I can keep my progression up my BF will be at 10% on stage.. Let's see how much I can bring this little bod in!
Feeling more muscular and I look like I lift! My prep is completely different and as hard as it is sometimes.. I have to trust the process!

Update!
This photo is me tonight at 59kgs and roughly 20% BF at 11.5 weeks out from the Arnold Classic Au!
I'm happy with the way I'm looking and the happiest I have ever been during a competition prep, which is unusual as normally I'm very hungry and craving but I haven't craved anything this prep and my cheat meals contain little to no sugar as it does not benefit me nor am I feeling like I need it.
One thing I have learnt this prep so far is that having macronutrients balanced prevents cortisol and my stomach is starting to lean out first which never happens! Happy to see some abba dabbas coming through π If you are someone who knows me really well you'll know I shred fat fast but struggle to keep muscle mass.. So far maximum muscle mass has been maintained!
Time for some Metacon training when I rise! π

So I did my InBody Scan today at work to check how my progress was coming along && because I said I'll keep you updated!
Since my last one I fell off the band wagon a month ago eating my feelings.. Literally. Never doing that again!
I'm only up 1.2% BF whilst being 1.5kg heavier which I'm not going to get myself down about. I have increased my BMR by 10 cals. You know what that means.. π GAINS.
I'll check my progress again at 8 weeks out and see how I'm doing. 3 weeks to grind some more and test again π
Now let's train πͺ

The food pyramid!
I've had a lot of girls recently ask me about diet and how to maintain diet whilst on Christmas holidays.. Well check this food pyramid! No it is not your standard food pyramid; with carbohydrates being your number 1 and main energy source. Do you think you can intake a large amount of carbohydrates and feel awesome? Hell to the bloody no!
Your diet needs to be balanced to ensure you don't have these "sugar cravings" by balancing out your hormone levels.
One major thing I found last prep is I would crave like a m**o simply because my macro ratio in every meal was not balanced.
If you know you are going to have a few wines make sure you are balancing out with some tuna, rice and avo or nuts or you'll end up drinking 3 bottles before you know it!
Your body is a mechanism. Respect it like you would with any other feature of yourself.
Always remember you are what you eat! You can either look delicious or feel it. Make the right choice :)

So as some of you may know I started prep for the Arnold Classic on Monday this week.
I have decided to update and notify those who are interested in my journey of my progress through out the 12 weeks.
This time round I'm working with a different coach. In the last three days I have lost 2kgs, basically just from changing back to a clean eating diet. I'm working a lot more then last season so it will be interesting to see how different I cope with things.
I'm going to do my in body scan later this week. I'll let you know where I'm looking at sitting with body fat and muscle. Last in body was 1 month ago where I was 58kgs with 20% BF. Keep your fingers crossed for me && keep grinding π

Motivation for me is something that comes without thought.
I do perhaps doubt myself and the process of leaning down for a show but I never lose hope because I have a dream. A dream to be the best at what I love most.
To be able to see similarities in one of my idols in the ifbb pro league gives me more hope that one day I will join her in the pro level.
Never lose sight. Always have faith. Gather your motivation and make it work π

When do you feel self empowered? Whilst shopping? Getting your hair done? Eating a particular type of food? Gym even? Whatever you love, make sure you incorporate it into your every day life.
Now why would you do that? Because it releases endorphins! Those "I feel amazing" moments.
For me, it's the gym. I have people ask time and time again why I do what I do.. Because I absolutely love it and it makes me happy!
Screw what people think of you! Always be happy :D
