⛔ Due to the wet weather, all ACT Government turf sportsgrounds are closed today (Tuesday 2 June) for training activity and match play.

🌧️ Wet weather closures occur when sportsgrounds are deemed unsafe for use, or to protect the surfaces from excessive damage.

Grounds will be reassessed again tomorrow morning to determine if they can re-open.

Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy 2026-27 Trials

The COERVER® Coaching Performance Academy is a football school for serious, dedicated individuals seeking additional professional training to improve technical ability and become more advanced players. Our mission is to provide comprehensive soccer education for young players looking to develop the skills necessary to elevate their game to the next level. The Academy helps players acquire the skills necessary for becoming confident, creative football players. The COERVER® Coaching method is based on our globally recognised pyramid of player development.

COERVER® Coaching ACT will be conducting its 2026/27 Academy trials on Sunday 30 August 2026 at the University of Canberra, Allawoona Street, Bruce ACT. There is no cost involved to trial.

As National Volunteer Week (18–24 May) gets underway, we’re celebrating the incredible people who give their time, energy and passion to make football happen.

Across Australia, volunteers are the backbone of grassroots sport, and here at Woden Valley, our coaches, team managers, canteen legends, photographers, committee members and match-day helpers help create opportunities for nearly 2,000 players and their families each season.

From setting up fields before sunrise to cheering from the sidelines and helping behind the scenes, every contribution matters.
