🦁 POV: You’ve entered the jungle … 🌿👀

Walking… prowling… sneaking… 🐾

One little lion leads… and the whole pack follows! 🦁💃

It might look like a whole lot of jungle fun, but our little lions are learning too! 🧡 Following a leader helps our preschoolers practice taking turns, listening, watching, copying movements and confidently having their own turn to lead - all while moving, dancing and having FUN! 🌈✨

Our Ready Set Dancers have been LOVING bringing the Emma Memma x Ready Set Dance Jungle Picnic to life this Term 3 and honestly, watching them transform into a little pack of prowling lions is pretty hard to beat! 🥹🌿

We’re into the final TWO weeks of our Jungle Picnic fun… and we’re making every last moment count! 🐵🌈✨

And yes, we’re still riding the high of seeing Emma Memma & Elvin Melvin live on our home town stage! 🥰💙💫

Huge congratulations to Year 5 student Ellsie O! Ellsie recently auditioned, and has been successful in being selected, as an “A level dancer” for the Schools Spectacular segment 'Land Down Under’ and will take to the stage at the 2026 Schools Spectacular in November. This week, Ellsie is also off to dance with the Western Dance Ensemble at the State Dance Festival in Sydney! This is an incredible achievement, and we are so proud of Ellsie’s passion and commitment to pursuing her love of dance!

Today, we’re taking a moment to remind our dancers, families and our CDF community that you don’t have to go through things alone. 🫶

At CDF, dance is about so much more than steps and counts. It’s connection, friendships, laughter, encouragement and having a place where you can be yourself. 💙

Some days feel easy, some days feel a little harder - and that’s okay. What matters is that we keep looking out for one another. 🌼

A simple “R U OK?” can open the door to a conversation that someone might really need.

🌟 One more stage for our soloists 🌟

The next Eisteddfod on the calendar was the Bathurst Eisteddfod and for most of our soloists, this was their final Eisteddfod for the year. ✨

Another stage, another opportunity for our dancers to perform, grow and enjoy doing what they love. We couldn’t be prouder of the way each and every one of our soloists took to the stage and gave it their all. 👏🏼

A huge congratulations to ALL of our soloists who performed throughout the season. Your hard work, commitment and confidence have shone through every time you stepped into the spotlight. We have loved watching your performances continue to grow and bloom as the year went on. 💙

It has been a busy month for our soloists as we come into the final couple of Eisteddfods for the season! 💙

Throughout August, our soloists took to the stage at one of the biggest Eisteddfods in our region - and one of their favourite stages to perform on! 💫

It was so special watching our dancers step into the spotlight, perform routines they have worked so hard on and enjoy every moment on the Orange stage. 🥹💙
