To Our Triathlon Community,

It is with great sadness that we inform you that a member of the Canberra Bilbys Triathlon Club passed away this morning following an incident during a bunch ride, with two other members taken to hospital.

Our thoughts are with all of the riders involved, along with their families, friends, Canberra Bilby’s Triathlon Club and all our ACT Triathlon members during this incredibly difficult time. We are also thinking of the first responders and medical personnel providing support and care.

As this remains an ongoing police investigation, limited information can be shared at this time. We will update the community further when more information is available.

Incidents like this impact our community deeply and our focus is to support the Canberra Bilbys Triathlon Club and those affected during this difficult time.

The final piece of our World Championship Team puzzle! 🧩

Meet the Australian Elite Team heading to Pontevedra this September.

🏆 Reigning World Champion Matt Hauser will be chasing back-to-back world titles, while Luke Willian enters the Grand Final sitting fourth in the WTCS standings.

Joining them in the Elite Men's field is Callum McClusky, with Sophie Malowiecki set to make her WTCS Grand Final debut.
