Team registrations are now open!

Twilight comp will run for 9 weeks from the 12th of October to the 9th of December at the SCNA courts.

Fees this year are $100 a person, plus an additional $25 for mixed players to cover the cost of umpires. As we have done in previous years we will be providing a $50 subsidy for new players to help cover their NACT fees, and players playing in more than one team. South Canberra Netball Association are offering a 3 week program aimed at players (female and male) looking to extend their netball skills. It will particularly cater for players who are interested in playing or are already playing in the Junior Representative teams. Players will need to be proficient in the basic skills of netball.

Where: South Canberra Netball Courts, Makin St Deakin
When: 15 Oct, 22 Oct, 29 Oct.
Time: Thursday 5:30pm -7pm
Cost: $75 per player
Goals: This program aims to improve the speed, fitness and agility of all participants and to extend specific netball skills.

We are excited to announce the upcoming trials for our 2027 Junior Representative season U11&U12 Mixed, U13-U15 Girls & in super exciting news we are hoping to field U14 and U17 boys teams for the first time.

TRIALS OPEN FOR:
Experienced netball players:
Under 11s – born 2016-2017 (girls & boys)
Under 12s – born 2015 (girls & boys)
Under 13s – born 2014 - girls only
Under 14s – born 2013 - girls only
Under 15s – born 2012 - girls only

We are offering a boys program in 2027
Under 14s - born 2013 & 2014 - boy’s only
Under 17s - born 2010, 2011, 2012 - boys

Please read the info in the registration link as there is a significant commitment required for players & families. Players must also have high skills for their age.

To represent SCNA it is expected our Rep players play at Deakin in our winter comp on Saturdays.
Players who do not, will need to apply for an exemption which will be considered by the Executive.

Please note - This does not apply to the new boys teams - the 3 Southside netball Associations are working together to field the numbers for a competitive team. We welcome boys from any location to trial.

Finals tomorrow:
The forecast is for light rain, with chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. With our all-weather courts you should assume all games will proceed. We have contingency plans in case games have to be cancelled, which has been shared with all council representatives and will be available to view at the courts.
