🏆 EJSC 2026 AWARDS 🦅
It’s time to recognise the people who make Edgeworth Junior Soccer Club such a great place to play, volunteer and belong! ❤️🖤
We’re inviting our EJSC community to nominate for our 2026 End of Year Awards.
🏆 COACH OF THE YEAR
Recognising an outstanding coach who has demonstrated commitment to their players, created a positive team environment, developed their players and consistently represented the values of EJSC.
🏆 MANAGER OF THE YEAR
Recognising a team manager who has gone above and beyond to support their team, communicate with families, organise their team and contribute positively to the club.
🏆 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Recognising someone who gives their time, energy and skills to support EJSC. This could be a committee member, canteen volunteer, team volunteer or someone who simply gets stuck in wherever they are needed.
🏆 GOOD SPORTS TEAM OF THE YEAR
Recognising a team that consistently demonstrates excellent sportsmanship, respect and positive behaviour. A team that supports its players, respects referees and opposition, and represents the EJSC way both on and off the field.
🏆 LONSDALE GAME DAY LEADER OF THE YEAR
Recognising and celebrating one of our exceptional MiniRoos Game Day Leaders. Nominees should demonstrate enthusiasm, leadership, fairness, encouragement and a genuine commitment to making game day a positive experience for our young players.
🏆 DANIEL ROSKELL MEMORIAL TROPHY
U5 or U6 players only
This award recognises an U5 or U6 player who has shown a real passion and enthusiasm for soccer, encouraging them to continue developing their love of the game.
Criteria:
* Shows a love of playing soccer and enthusiasm to learn.
* Is well behaved and respectful towards coaches, managers and * teammates.
* Attends training and games whenever possible.
* Has shown improvement throughout the season.
* Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to participate.
* This is not an award for the best player — it celebrates a player who is growing in their love of the game.
The trophy honours the memory of Daniel Roskell, a mad keen soccer player who played his first season with EJSC more than 30 years ago. Although Daniel was sadly lost far too soon, his memory lives on through this trophy, donated by his parents to celebrate the wonderful way soccer can inspire our kids.
Nominations are open to U5 & U6 Coaches and Managers only.
