Our team was proud to attend Deadly in Geelong 2026, hosted by Kinaway Chamber of Commerce.

The event brought together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, corporate partners and government organisations to strengthen connections, share opportunities and support economic participation across the Geelong region.

Thank you to Kinaway for creating a space that celebrates First Nations business, collaboration and community.

We look forward to continuing to build meaningful partnerships that create opportunities for the people and communities we support.

Opendoor was proud to attend the WORKS IN PROGRESS Youth Summit at Town Hall Broadmeadows, connecting with young people exploring their future pathways beyond school.

The event brought together students, early school leavers, employers, educators and community organisations to discuss alternative pathways to employment, training and further opportunities.

A big thank you to the organisers, panel speakers and everyone who stopped by the Opendoor stall. Our team enjoyed sharing information, answering questions and supporting young people as they considered their next steps.

At Opendoor, we believe every young person deserves access to opportunities, guidance and support to build a future that works for them.

Sometimes the things that make us different become the things that help us thrive.

As part of Opendoor’s Better Futures program, one young person turned a passion for history into a source of confidence, connection, and purpose.

With the right support and encouragement, he embraced what he loves most and found the confidence to share it proudly with others.

Every young person deserves the opportunity to explore their strengths, build confidence, and create a future they are excited about.

Mabo Day | Today we honour Eddie Koiki Mabo and the historic decision that recognised the enduring connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country. June 3 marks a turning point in Australia’s story and a powerful reminder that truth, justice and recognition matter.
At Opendoor, we are committed to strengthening relationships with First Nations communities, respecting culture, and creating real opportunities for the people we support.
Reconciliation is ongoing work. It asks us to acknowledge history, take responsibility in the present, and contribute to a future shaped by fairness and respect for all.

🔦 What it means to be a Registered NDIS Provider , and why it matters.

With the passing of the NDIS Amendment (Integrity and Safeguarding) Bill 2026, there is a lot of discussion about provider regulation. We know that navigating the NDIS can feel overwhelming right now, which is why we want to provide absolute clarity on who we are.

Opendoor is a Registered NDIS Provider. We have maintained this registration since the scheme began, and it represents our intention to do things the right way. We meet the highest national standards so that you can focus on your goals with total peace of mind.

NDIS provider registration is your guarantee of safety and trust:

✔️Genuine accountability: We are directly accountable to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

✔️Strict safeguards: Our governance, independent quality audits, and worker screening processes are already fully established.

✔️Seamless continuity: As the government moves toward mandatory registration for more service categories, our participants can rest assured that their supports will remain secure and completely uninterrupted.
