Gerringong Bowlo is located at the south end of Werri Beach nestled between the Werri Beach Holiday Park & Surf Club in beautiful Gerringong, just 2 hours south of Sydney. From the beach it’s just a quick step to our front door where you’re greeted by our friendly staff. If you would like a bite to eat we have The Dairy or CABO Pacific Grill. Open to both members and guests. Come in and enjoy company with family and friends, a game of barefoot bowls and great food and drinks and a picturesque view of the famous South Coast.

We’re honoured to be hosting the BreastScreen NSW mobile van, looking out for our Gerringong and Kiama LGA community. 🩷 🚐

Thank you to those who’ve booked in for their free screening, to the female radiologists performing mammograms and to the reception staff managing the paperwork to make it all happen. 🫶🏼

It’s been a real success with around 400 people making bookings so far. Due to the popularity and importance of screenings, we’re looking at locking in an annual visit! To help facilitate ongoing cancer research, the Club is proudly donating $2000 to BreastScreen NSW.

The van will be located at Gerringong Bowling Club until Friday 2nd October (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm). Take advantage of free parking at the Club and a free coffee at The Dairy for all women who screen. ☕️

On 10th October, Gerringong Bowling & Recreation Club will be unveiling our Gratitude Garden, created to recognise those who have generously contributed their time, effort and service to the Club. 🪴

Amongst others, the following Members will be honoured posthumously. 🤍 We are seeking the community’s help to make contact with family members and friends to extend an invitation to attend the ceremony. These Members helped shape the Club and the community we enjoy today:

💕Profits from this Friday night’s Mega Meat Raffle will be donated to a not-for-profit, “The Simple Gift of a Bag”. This Australian volunteer initiative creates and provides handmade fabric drainage bags for people recovering from breast cancer surgery. 🫶🏼 🪡

We’ll be welcoming representatives on the night, to speak with patrons about this very worthy cause and how members can participate and support it.

Please join us this Friday evening.

Million Moves COMMUNITY WALK IS TOMORROW💚🧡💛🌊

See everyone tomorrow for our Sunday morning Million Moves community walk at 8am outside Gerringong Bowlo. Bring the family, kids, dogs and friends….all are welcomed to walk along the Werri beach path!
