What a weekend for our Melbourne East Netball Association Rep Program

A weekend of great netball, big efforts, plenty of laughs and memories that will stay with our players for a long time.

🏆 17&U 1s – Section 1 Champions
🥈 15&U 1s – Section 1 Runners-Up
👏 15&U 2s – Semi-Finalists
👏 17&U 2s – 5th in Section 1

Congratulations to our 17&U 1s Grand Final MVP, Gabby Hooper - fantastic recognition.

But weekends like this are about more than results. They’re about players backing each other, coaches leading their team, Team Managers supporting their teams, new friendships, plenty of laughs and representing MENA with pride.

A huge thank you to all our players, coaches, team managers, parent volunteers and scorers who helped make the weekend run so smoothly.

A special thank you to our Coaches Abbey, Laura, Jess & Aleysha, our team mangers Holly, Paige, Jess & Beth and Umpires Lilly, Abbey, Daniella and Milla for representing MENA and doing a fantastic job across the weekend.

And a very special thank you to Abbey for everything you’ve put into our Rep Program this year. The time, energy, care and work behind the scenes doesn’t go unnoticed. You’ve helped create an environment where our players can players can enjoy their netball, challenge themselves and make great memories.

Thank you to our sponsor Community Bank Ringwood East and Croydon for your continued support.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who baked, volunteered and supported Beyond Blue Mental Health Round. Your dedication and enthusiasm helped us raise over $4,600 to support Beyond Blue's vital 24/7 Support Service.

These funds will ensure that more calls, webchats, and emails can be answered from those in need, making a real difference in mental health support.
But that's not all. It was incredible to witness so many of you rocking that splash of blue, sending a powerful message that speaking up and seeking help is not just okay but essential.

To all our supporters & volunteers, you are the reason for our success. We couldn't do it without your incredible support. A huge thanks to our amazing volunteers for baking, decorating, organising, and running the stall, and to The Butcher Club , Boost Health Collective , Park Orchards Netball Club, Melbourne Vixens and Mullum Netball Club for raffle donations.

Congrats to our raffle winners & guess the lolly jar. Check out the full list of winners on our website - https://menanetball.com.au/thankyoubeyondblue2026/
Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Rep Trials are coming up.

A reminder that every athlete’s selection journey is different.

Some will get the outcome they’re hoping for. Some won’t. What matters is that we support them through it all.

Parents, coaches & supporters - celebrate the effort, encourage the courage to have a go, and be their biggest cheerleader. 💙

Have a crack. Back yourself. Enjoy the experience.
