Yesterday was a typical Melbourne muggy spring day, and it worked for the Compounders with 3 of them getting PBs and the SROD Rd34 Trophy going to Christine.

Today the Longbow Love-in Round 10 (finale) winner on Handicap was Ulla!! Congratulations 🎉 🏆

As the final longbow shoot of the year, we also had some fun with some archery darts, or 'Darchery'. In a nail-biting game Tony took this home, ending on a double 5.

Well done Darchers! 🎯✨️

There was an assortment of winners yesterday , including a mother-daughter powerhouse 🎉✨️

The Senior Round of The Day Round 33 Winner on Handicap is Jenny 🏆

We have Allanah taking third place in the Oceania Challenge 🥉

We also have Dieter taking second place in the Oceania Challenge 🥈

MAC Club Championships

7th & 8th November 2026
Open to all – Full, Ozbow & Temp MAC members

Saturday - 90 arrow Round
Practice starts 1pm, Scoring starts 1.30pm

Flight 1 – Canberra 60/900 for U20, Open, Master, Vet, Compound & Recurve
Flight 2 – Short Canberra 50/900 for U18 Comp, Rec & all BBR, LB
Flight 3 – Junior Canberra 40/900 for U16
Flight 4 – Mini Canberra 30/900 for U14
Flight 5 – Newcastle 20/900 for U12

The Saturday round will decide the last SROD & Hudson on handicap, while Off-The-Bow Scores will be added to Sunday’s scores for Championship points.

Sunday - 144 arrow Round
Practice starts 9.30am, Scoring starts 10.00am

Flight 1 – 70/1440 for Open Compound & Recurve
Flight 2 – 60/1440 for U20, Master, Vet Comp & Rec
Flight 3 – 50/1440 for U18 & all BBR, LB
Flight 4 – 40/1440 for U16
Flight 5 – 30/1440 for U14
Flight 6 – 20/1440 for U12

The Sunday round will decide the last JROD on handicap, while Off-The-Bow Scores will be added to Saturday’s scores for Championship points.

This round will REPLACE Ozbow as it is an all-day shoot.

The usual dimmies, hotdogs & refreshments will be available at lunch time.

SUNDAY - BRING A PLATE with food on it 😊 to share for Afternoon Tea

Mistakes will be corrected 😊

PLEASE ENSURE you have registered on AD (Full members) by 1st November

Ozbow, Temp Members OR a Full Member that is unable to shoot the required distance - please email [email protected] & provide:

Full Name
Maximum distance you are comfortable to shoot
Bowtype (Compound, Recurve, Barebow Recurve or Longbow)
Age at your birthday THIS year (so I can put you in correct division)
Attending Saturday?, Sunday? Or BOTH days.

You may shoot either day, or both, to maximise your championships points & chance to win! $15 entry fee for Ozbow or Temp members, paid on the day.

PLEASE ENSURE you have emailed by Sunday 1st November.

There is a lot of preparation in the lead up to the championships and Target Allocations need to be managed.

*To avoid disappointment, please get your entry in by the due date of Sunday 1st November as there will be NO acceptance of late entries, or walk-ins on the day.

Trophy & Medal Presentations – 5th December at our end of year Presentation Lunch!!!

One from the weekend... JROD 17 handicap winner, Caspian Cooke. A PB and incredible improvement on handicap.
Oh I get the joke now...Caution Juniors....well we adults usually are cautious of you all, once you get the trolleys out & career madly around the hall, risking life & limb.
Well done Caspian. :)

Through gale-force winds, the Longbow Love-In winner on Handicap was Nigel!!Congratulations 🎉 🏆

Special mention to Angela who won the flu-flu elimination challenge 🎯✨️

And on a sad note, today we also farewelled Bruce’s Longbow. RIP 🪦🏹
