💙💚 ST PATS NETBALL CLUB NEEDS TWO MORE COMMITTEE MEMBERS. WITHOUT THEM, WE WILL CLOSE.
A number of our committee members are moving on as their children get older, and we urgently need two more people to join our Executive Committee this year to ensure St Pats Netball Club can continue operating.
This isn’t a problem for next year. We need to fill these positions now. If we can’t, we will have no choice but to wind up the club.
St Pats netball club is a not-for-profit, incorporated association that has been run by volunteer families for the benefit of our children for the past six decades. It has taken generations of families stepping up to give our kids this opportunity. We now need the next families to do the same.
A club cannot run on the efforts of the same few people forever. Our current committee cannot continue carrying the responsibility without others stepping in.
We need two people willing to put their hands up. You don't need previous committee experience, just a willingness to help keep this club alive for our children.
For 2027, there will also be plenty of smaller roles and jobs for families to help with throughout the season. These tasks will be shared to make the workload manageable and ensure the responsibility doesn't fall on the same few people. Every family will be expected to contribute in some way. This is a community club, and keeping it running is a shared responsibility.
