Climbing Everest for Men’s Mental Health
This will be one of the hardest challenges of Cody’s life — and he is all in.
On Saturday 13th June, CODY (my son) will be taking on an Everest climb in one single attempt on a stair climber at Active Fitness Doyalson to raise funds and awareness for Talk2mebro.
The Challenge
This isn’t symbolic — it’s physical, mental, and relentless.
16+ hours on a stair climber
3,871 floors
29,029 feet of elevation
The equivalent height of Mount Everest
Completed in one continuous attempt
The Mission
This challenge is about more than endurance.
It’s about sending a clear message to men everywhere:
Before turning to drugs, alcohol, or thinking your life is the only thing you can give up — reach out. Talk to someone. Sit beside someone. Join the climb. You don’t have to carry it alone.
By supporting this challenge, you’re helping Talk2mebro continue the work of creating connection, education, and safe spaces where men can speak openly and be supported before it’s too late.
How You Can Help
Donate — every dollar directly supports Talk2mebro’s work
Share this page — awareness saves lives
Show up — come down to the gym, climb alongside me, or check in on a mate
If this challenge sparks even one honest conversation, one “how are you really doing?”, or one moment where someone chooses to stay — it’s worth every step.
Thank you for standing with me and supporting men’s mental health.
