📣 LOOK OUT… WE’VE GOT SOME NEW LIFESAVERS! 👏🏼🥳

A massive congratulations to these legends who have officially completed their Bronze Medallion and joined the red & yellow family! 🌊🤙🏼

They’ve swum, run, rescued, resuscitated, studied, probably swallowed half the ocean… and now they’re officially qualified Surf Lifesavers!

And here’s the thing…

We need more legends. Yep, we’re looking at you. 🫵🏼

Think Surf Lifesaving isn’t for you?

Can’t swim like an Olympian? Well neither can most of us.
Never driven an IRB? We can teach you.
Prefer first aid to getting smashed by waves? Perfect cause sometimes we need to apply bandaids & do CPR.
Love helping with Nippers? Come on down.
Good at BBQs, organising things, fixing stuff or just getting stuck in? WE NEED YOU TOO.

You don’t have to be 18, ridiculously fit or have grown up at the beach. There are so many different roles within our club and there genuinely is a place for everyone. ❤️💛

Come learn some pretty handy skills, meet a great bunch of humans and give something back to the community while you’re at it.

Worst case? You make some new mates.
Best case? You might just save someone’s life.

📣 We’re looking for a little lady to join our newest crew of rowing legends!

Our U15s girls crew are looking for a 4th member. They’re all brand new to rowing but with the coaching & guidance of one of the best Sweeps (dude who steers the boat) in the World Neil Innes - they’ll be winning medals in no time. Our ideal new rower needs to be turning 15 before the 30th of September.

🚨 WE NEED A FEW MORE VOLUNTEERS 🚨

The Club Capability Program is on in Narooma 12 & 13 September, focusing on coaching & officiating — and we need a few more Bay legends to come along!

We’ve already got 7 people signed up (go us 👏), but there’s definitely a few more of you out there who could be voluntold.

Always got an opinion from the sidelines? Perfect. Officiating could be for you.
Reckon you could teach the kids a thing or two? Congratulations, you’re coaching material.

Seriously though, we can never have too many coaches and officials. The more people we get qualified, the less we rely on the same handful of legends all season.

We know there’s a few clashes that weekend, but if you’re free — come have a crack!

Coaching Session: Saturday 9am-4pm
Officials Session: Sunday 9am-12noon

No experience required. No need to know what you’re doing yet. That’s why we’re sending you 😁
