Spot the increase in confidence from 2017 to 2026!! 🤩🤩

While many of our families are used to Breanna being at reception greeting you with a smile, we’re more used to her being up on the stage! Her presence while performing has only grown over the years as she’s progressed into our Adult School, and we love seeing her shine both onstage and behind-the-scenes at Dance Habit 🧡✨

Before ➡️ After - ATOD Exam Students 🤩

We’re so incredibly proud of every single student who sat their external ballet exam with ATOD in September! Results were outstanding across the board - with one of our dancers achieving an unbelievable 99%! ⭐✨

We love seeing students take advantage of additional training opportunities, and can’t wait to see what’s next in their ballet journey! See them all shine on stage in our upcoming performance of ‘Dr Coppelius’ Workshop’ in Act 1 of our Senior School Concert 🩰

Last week our amazing Dancestep students came together for their final theory session of 2026 ✨ With our Junior & Senior School concerts on the horizon, it was the perfect time to focus on the roles & responsibilities for leaders during concert season - not only physically but emotionally & mentally too! We can’t wait to see our assistant teachers put these ideas into action and help our younger dancers enjoy their time on & off stage 🎉

A huge thank you to Mon, Kat & Nicola for jumping in to lead these theory sessions, giving each group the chance to work independently on age appropriate content 🧡

From Flintstones in 2013 to Starfish in 2026, this gorgeous pair have danced their way into our hearts! 🧡 Nicola & Estelle have been side-by-side onstage for over a decade, moving through the school to join our adult classes and even our teaching team for Nicola! (You can tell she was born to teach dancing from her onstage instructions at such a young age 😂)

It’s officially Dance Habit’s BIRTHDAY MONTH! 🥳🧡🎉 We’re turning 15 on the 15th, and there’s no better time to reflect on our early years to see just how far we’ve come as a studio

Can you believe these tiny dancers are our very own Adult Intermediate tappers Ednah & Charlotte? 😮😍 Not only was this their very first tap routine (with bonus singing recorded into the track), but also Dance Habit’s first ever concert in 2012!! Seeing how much they have grown into beautiful dancers in our 2026 Adult Concert is incredible, and a little bit mind-blowing too! We’re so grateful that our students stick around for the long term - or in Charlotte’s case, return as an adult after moving away!

We can’t wait to show you more throwbacks throughout October, do you have any guesses as to who’s next?? 🤩
