☀️ Whilst on their east coast holiday for the month, our gym Mumanger Dani stopped into .nambour on the Sunshine Coast. She just can’t keep away!!! ☀️
Entering her 4th year Managing Quickfit Croydon, Dani found herself right at home there and I’ll bet you she picked up the vacuum and whizzed around because she just can’t help herself.
We loved that you stopped in Dani and Dean, but don’t go getting any ideas about gym swaps, we need you here at Croydon 🫶🏽

Mandy has been a member of Quickfit since 2022 and she is such a friendly and positive member of our gym community!!
If you visit the gym, chances are, Mandy will be there on the treadmill smashing out kilometre affer kilometre.
Mandy’s advice for others is to, ‘Just run! Make sure you stretch beforehand of course, and if you can push through the first 10 minutes, you get into a rhythm and there is nothing like it to clear your mind and take care of your physical and mental health!’
Mandy’s positive attitude and dedication inspires me every time I see her and we are so grateful she is with us!!

Did you know you should be putting your COMPOUND EXERCISES first in your session!? 🤔
A compound exercise is an exercise that works multiple muscles at once. E.g squats, smith lunges, hip thrusts, deadlifts etc. they are great movements because they work your bigger muscles and supporting muscles around them.
Once you’ve ticked those off, work down your program in order of bigger exercises to smaller muscle groups.
Why!? Because of muscle fatigue. You don’t want to be maxing out and fatiguing little supporting muscles on isolation exercises before putting them to work in a compound movement.
Here we have doing the Workout of the Day from the .app working compounds to isos:
🎯 Smith Machine stationary lunges x8
🎯 Hip Thrusts x 10
🎯 Lat Pull down x10
🎯 Straight arm push downs x 10 (abs)
🎯 Ab roller for 10 in between each exercise

We are so lucky to have such amazing high schools locally whose students choose this gym after school. Students from Yarra Valley Grammar, Luther College and Melba College, always so polite and well mannered in the afternoons 🙌🏽
