In a “secret location down the Pentecost” a “hectic” fight with the barra followed

When he landed the fish he screamed the river down!

He has caught bigger at 1.37cm and is “spewing I didn’t get either on video!” he said.

Birchy says “Mullet chunks and patience are the key to catching a barra.”

Birchy is already planning to head back to the secret spot with his family this weekend saying “My kids are already in the metre club. My daughter got a 1.25m, my son got a 1.19m. Just gotta get my newborn onto a metre now!”
