🟤🔵🟡 BRISBANE LIONS | 2026 TRADE PERIOD RECAP 🦁
Brisbane have endured a significant player exodus during the 2026 trade period, losing four players without bringing a single established replacement through the door.
The biggest headline was Lachie Neale’s departure to Collingwood, bringing an end to his decorated time at the Lions.
Defender Keidean Coleman has landed at Essendon, while youngsters Sam Marshall and Will McLachlan have also found new homes.
For a club with premiership ambitions, that’s a considerable amount of experience and depth walking out the door. ➡️🚪

THE VERDICT 📋
The Lions have built a successful culture and possess an established core, but losing four players without adding anyone raises a genuine question about their depth.
They still have a premiership winning list and will no doubt go again in 2027, but is the cliff coming?
