One year after claiming the biggest title of his career, Ben Shelton (USA) returned to the National Bank Open as defending champion and delivered another statement performance in Canada.
The 23-year-old successfully defended his ATP Masters 1000 title, defeating Brandon Nakashima (USA) 6-3, 7-6(4) in an all-Team Yonex final. Shelton completed his title run without dropping a set.
