Hi everyone, Just a quick update from us. Unfortunately, Camilleri Racing will be out of competition for the next few months.
Daniel recently tore up to 90% of his bicep and required surgery. The operation was two weeks ago and went well, and he’s now focused on his recovery.
While he heals up, we’ll continue working on the car behind the scenes so we’re ready to go when he’s cleared to return. At this stage, we’re aiming to be back for the Nitro Champs at Sydney Dragway.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with messages and support for Daniel and our family, we really appreciate it.

Adelaide Jamboree Wrap-Up 🏁🔥
Fun weekend, strong runs, and a massive team effort from start to finish. 💪
After 45 hits, the engine will now get a well earned freshen-up, big thanks to PTHP for keeping us running hard. Pre season testing is up next before we hit all the Pro Mod rounds next year.💪
Congratulations to John Ricca and Zappia Racing on an awesome final 👏.
Big thanks to the Jamboree team, Dragway at The Bend staff and all the volunteers who make these events possible. Shoutout to everyone who helped across the weekend - Waka, Ryan, Ella, Paul, Jamie, Jess, Jodanna and Mark for working hard all weekend. Special thanks to Al McClure, Bob Sherry, and Bronson for jumping in to help with repairs Friday night. 🙌

Round 3 We lined up against the legend himself, John Zappia. Dan killed it on the tree with a 0.037 reaction time, and the car took off hard but it drifted toward the centre line and clipped two timing blocks. Zap powered through with a 5.648 @ 255mph and went on to take the Pro Mod event win.
Huge congrats to Zappia Racing on the victory 👏

Dragway at The Bend

Round 1 we faced Greg Tsakiridis. We took some power out but the track was extremely slippery. Spun the tyres early but managed to get it down for a 6.412 @ 218mph, unfortunately taking the loss.
Back in the pits we found the top bar of the wheelie bar had snapped at the join. The crew worked flat out to repair it, and we were still finishing up when they called us to the lanes for round 2. We accepted the green on the tree for a round win.
Car is all sorted and ready for Round 3 against John Zappia at 7:08 PM local time. (7:38 PM Melbourne Time) 💪
