Their crime?

Putting client work ahead of their own marketing. Time and time again.

On Friday 26 June, they'll be serving a one-day sentence behind bars.

Their punishment?

And here's a fun fact...

Around 30% of attendees actually work in marketing themselves. These are women who spend their days helping clients grow, but like many business owners, struggle to find time to focus on their own marketing.

Marketing can feel overwhelming.

A new platform. A new AI tool. A new trend. A new "must-do" strategy.

But here's the reality:
You don't need to do everything. You need to do the right things consistently.

In fact, better marketing often means doing LESS.
âś… Stop chasing shiny objects.
âś… Start focusing on what's already working.
âś… Scale the activities that bring enquiries, sales and referrals.

One business owner shared how a simple personalised gift to accountants generated 4 new clients. Another realised their best leads came from local events and shopping centre activations.

Nothing complicated. Just a focus on what works.

Ask yourself:

This Christmas, I’m doing things differently.

Less stress, starting the food & house tidy up earlier, more delegating of chores to the teenagers and the husband.

(and yes, I know I’ll probably still end up doing 90% of the chores I delegate to the fam but.... if they want to ensure that Santa listened to them, then there'll need to be some action .

But the plan stands:
Once the feast is demolished and the house looks like a festive tornado hit, I’ll tidy up, collapse on the couch, put my feet up - and simply be.

I love everything about Christmas: the rituals, the food, the pressies, the buzz.
It’s my favourite time of year.

But what I secretly love most?
The after.
The quiet.
The calm.

Here’s to a Christmas with less pressure, more presence, and the radical joy of doing absolutely nothing.

Wishing you a well-earned rest doing nothing in particular!
