Bayside United Football Club is a semi-professional women's soccer team which competes in the Women'

It was formed by a consortium of Bayside Melbourne soccer clubs (Bayside Argonauts, Beaumaris, Brighton, Hampton and Sandringham) with support from Bayside and Kingston Councils. It fields teams in the following categories: under 13 years, under 15 years, under 17 years, under 19 years and seniors.

Dear members, supporters, and friends of Bayside United Football Club,

As we wrap up an incredible 2023 and head into the Christmas break, the Board is proud to make a historic announcement regarding the future of women's football in our region.

Football Victoria has formally approved the merger between Bentleigh Greens SC and Bayside United FC.

This merger is a testament to the growing strength and recognition of women's football. A bigger, better and stronger Bentleigh Greens SC promises to bring the women and girls of the club more opportunities, resources, and exposure.

We look forward to the 2024 season as a combined club and together we will strive for a brighter, more competitive, and inspiring future for women's football in the South-East region.

Announcement: Bentleigh Greens SC and Bayside United FC - A Powerful future

We are thrilled to announce that during extraordinary general meetings conducted last week, both BGSC and BUFC members overwhelmingly passed special resolutions in favour of merging the two clubs.

This significant milestone propels BGSC and BUFC toward the realisation of a comprehensive club catering to men, women, boys and girls - all united under the distinguished banner of Bentleigh Greens.

The next step involves submitting an application to Football Victoria for approval of the merger.

We are looking for a candidate with a positive and enthusiastic attitude eager to drive the direction of our junior girls program. A minimum “B” licence is also required.

We would like to warmly welcome Nathan Maiorana to Bayside United FC as Senior Head Coach for the 2024 season.

Nathan joins us after a successful season as Calder United’s Senior Head Coach in 2023, taking his team to the semi-finals in the WNPL competition and the Nike Cup final. We know he will lead our girls to a rewarding season in 2024.

We are very pleased to have Nathan join our team at Bayside United and wish him and our senior team a successful 2024 season. 🧡🖤

Following the recent announcement that the NPLW U19 competition will become an U20 competition in 2024, we are seeking players to trial for the last spot in our U20 squad.

Bayside United FC would like to inform our players, members and supporters that Loui Spiridis and his assistant Kalhan Karwani have resigned from their positions in our Senior Program.

The club would like to thank Loui and Kal for the professionalism and vigour they brought to our Senior Program over the past 18 months which resulted in significant improvements in performance.
