Photoshoot from 6 months ago.

Looking back at these, I cant believe how much Carter has grown since then already.

He is a new 2 year old here and now he is closer to 3.

I am trying to treasure each moment but god time flys by and its so easy to get caught up in the day to day "ground hog day".

These photos help💕

My advice lately to my mum clients and to myself recently is SLOW DOWN.

Life is not meant to be lived in a state of anxiety - what can you do today to help yourself be more present with your family/improve your health?

Small...

- Go for a walk with your kids instead of TV time
- A home workout with your kids or solo
- Prep your breakfasts for next week
- Slow down bedtime tonight and read that extra story

Big...

- Career change (love this one, as best thing I ever did) big risk but big reward
- Sign up to a gym
- Ask for help (maybe hire a weekly house cleaner)

We cant get these moments back but we can improve them each and every day. Everyday is a new opportunity.

Make changes.
Move more, be more present.

Ladies the hardest part is starting.

I don’t just mean starting your fitness journey.
This is the hardest step yes but it doesn’t stop there.
Each day comes with struggles, sorry to burst your bubble.

That’s where discipline comes in.

My advice is always to start small.
Ridiculously small - 1 walk per week or 1 workout per week repeat this and then add to it.

The gym never gets easier - you just get stronger 💪

TBH each morning looks a little different for us but always starts the same.
I am up first (well 90%) of the time, little work 💻 block which has been a game changer now I only have Carter in care 2 days per week.
Then breakfast together 🫶

Then off for either a workout together or daycare drop off if it’s a face to face coaching morning for me.

If you are 📍Melbourne Eastern Suburbs that kindergym place I posted it’s a must visit! Trident Gymnastics Ringwood - classes or free play!

And that was our morning - amongst all the other crap I didn’t film (cleaning, getting dressed etc.) 🤪

And lift heavy and hit your protein goal 💪

The best to do list for all mums 🩷

Get it ladies 💋

Progressive overload ladies!

Your glutes are muscle and they need enough force applied to them to actually grow, b***y bands ain’t gonna cut it sorry.

What’s that?
It’s that extra rep, extra bit of weight, tempo work etc. that we are adding each week to continue challenging our bodies!

What it isn’t 🙅‍♀️
Its not random workouts, inconsistent training days (2 one week 5 the next), not tracking your progress & not having a plan.

I encourage you, if you are not seeing results please 🙏 get a strategy that fits you, your goals and your life!

If only she knew what was coming.

Back in the trenches of fresh postpartum, I knew I would come back stronger but I didn’t realise how strong.

Motherhood gives you strength you never knew you could have.

Now my little man (now 2.5 years old) - is my favourite training buddy and always my reason why 💙

If you are on the other side of fresh postpartum and made a change to look after yourself and your health - you should be so proud - whatever that looks like to you 🫶

If you haven’t yet - this is your message to start - you got this - just start 💪

Small efforts everyday 💪

Not perfect but consistent.

If your a Mumma out there trying to get healthier, just remember if progress feels slow you are better than you were before you started - your making progress everyday just for showing up!

And sometimes that could just mean a walk over a gym sesh or a water over a can of coke.

Small efforts add up 💪🫶

🫶

You have the strength.
Just remind yourself of your why and that’s all you need 💪

It’s been a balance recently trying to lean up a little for our upcoming Fiji trip but also support my performance goal of preparing for my first Hyrox.

This menu has been perfect for me. I have this almost everyday atm 🤪 just change up the breakfast to eggs some days or salmon for dinner instead of beef.

Around 1900-2000 cals, high protein and moderately high carb too.

Had to do some adjustments some days when I have been feeling flat and on my big run days - we listen to the body and add some extra carbs in 💪

Always listen to your body ladies 🫶

My biggest tip for nailing your nutrition is keep it simple and enjoyable! So find the meals you love and recipe repeat 🔁
