SBMT Past, Present Players & Supporters

Remember this Saturday is Past Players and supporters catch up day. If you're a former St Bedes, Beda Park or Bangholme boy, a former Brindisi St, Mentone lad, or played with SBMT in the 1990s and 2000s we would love to see you come down and catch up with old mates and see the current finals bound senior and reserves teams in action. Phone a mate and get on down.

Heads up all for the 30th August Past players day. We welcome every past player, sponsor, supporter from the St Bedes Mentone Tigers Amateur Football Club, St Bedes Old Collegians Football Club, Mentone Football Club and the Mentone Junior Football Club. Past couple of years been a great day. Our Senior and Reserves currently sitting 4th and 2nd respectively. The four in both grades are very local us, Parkdale, Beaumaris and Ajax. Our U19's playing in Premier Grade have had a tough year and the U19s team in Division 3 are currently 2nd. Make the effort.

The club would like to acknowledge the recent passing of Gill Marchant (Life Member) 13/3/1926 - 25/10/2024.

Gill was a much-loved supporter, sponsor, and helper in the 1970s and 1980s. He was renowned for his beer-battered fish on Thursday nights and at club functions.

He is the father of Club Legend Brett Marchant.

Our condolences go to Brett, Debbie and the Marchant family.

The service to celebrate Gill's life will be held on Tuesday, November 19th, at 11:30 a.m. sharp at the Parkdale Yacht Club, directly opposite Monaco St.

Join us to celebrate a great rivalry as we welcome old foes (and friends) De La Salle Amateur Football Club to Brindisi Street with a lunch upstairs in the Corboy Pavilion.
Family style lunch service (shared platters served to the dining tables), with catering by Guys Gourmet Catering.
Saturday, 1st June. 12pm start
