Saddened to learn that Grigor Shekoyan Renshi of DNBKID Armenia passed away some 10 days ago, having contracted Covid.

As such, we will train in his memory at our Dojo this week.

In recognition of his outstanding teaching and service in Japanese traditional Budo, Dai Nippon Butoku Kai based in Kyoto, Japan, will honour him posthumously the title of Kyoshi and ShichiDan in Aikido and dedicate the Official Flag Ceremony at the next World Butoku Sai staged in Kyoto.

An Aiki JuJutsu style with Hombu in Osaka dating back to Kumiuchi Heiho Enshin Ryu. Soke Kitano travels to Australia yearly for daily practice for our 3 week tuition program.
