When the Lang Lang Rifle Club Committee was approached in regards to this action the reporting member was told that he was gutless and another member was suspended

Let’s see about that people there needs to be attitude and common practice changes at this club and the Committee needs to be shown that they cannot just get rid of members that ask questions of their decisions and members they don’t like 🤬🤬

As a concerned resident of the Lang Lang community I would like to bring to everyone’s attention the unsafe practices that are common place at the Lang Lang Rifle Club.
The video posted shows the Chief Range Officer and a long standing member of the Lang Lang Rifle Club instructing a paying non member to discharge a high powered rifle into the scrub off to the side of the rifle range. In a straight and direct line of the barrel within 150 to 200 metres is a residential housing estate. As if that isn’t bad enough in the bush along the side of the rifle range are tracks that are used by bush walkers, motorbike and pushbike rider and the general public. The person shoots into the ground but what are the consequences if there is something solid in that area and the projectile ricochet’s, God knows where that projectile will end up, keeping in mind these rifles will shoot a projectile kilometres.
We want this practice to stop 🛑 now!!!!
