Did you know that we are more than kicking coaches?? 😱
We work with teams on skills, one on one sessions with players and coaches, group sessions, we run a leadership program and there's many other things we can offer.
Last year we launched our first ever leadership program at Diamond Creek Womens Football Club with their Senior Women's Team and their Senior Women's Reserves Team.
This year we have developed and evolved our program to make it bigger and better in more ways than one!
This year we are launching our 2024 Leadership Program at Whittlesea Football Netball Club with their Senior Women's Team. This year's program will include learning processes, learning about mindsets, your strengths and areas for improvement, your personal branding, communication preferences and recognising them and so much more.
We are launching this program on the 5th of March! DM us on Instragram or Facebook if this is something your team or yourself are interested in!

Let's summarise our 5 step kicking process
1A = Step 1, Align
Everything has to be aligned before kicking the ball
2B = Step 2, Ball
The ball has to parallel over your kicking leg when holding with one hand and dropped straight
3C = Step 3, Connection
The ball has to hit your foot on your laces with one connection and sound
4D = Step 4, Drive
Your follow through after the kick is the most important part and often missed. Keep your momentum moving forwards
5E = Step 5, Evaluate
Always think about what felt good and what could be improved. Having a self evaluation can improve your kicks
Now you know our secrets, let us know how you go with this process!

We have finally hit day 5 and step 5
5E = Step 5, Evaluate
While practising kicking, you should always evaluate your kicks. What felt good? What could be improved? Was my wrist bent? What part of my foot did the ball come off? Did I follow through?
Simple questions like these can help you adjust your kicks and improve them.
You could also try writing or typing what felt good and what didn't as you may find a pattern. Looking back on your kick in the future, you may see the improvement too

Day 4 step 4!
4D = Step 4, Drive
This step is often missed when kicking. The drive is the follow through of your kick. After kicking with our head over the ball, our momentum should follow through, creating the drive.
Last step will be out tomorrow!

We are half way through our 5 step kicking technique process!
3C = Step 3, Connection
After discussing the ball and ball drop yesterday, we now talk about the connection the ball has when it hits your boot laces. There should be a solid sound. If you hear a double noise it means the ball has hit two parts of your leg or foot. To adjust this think about pointing your toes more. When you drop the ball, the ball has to hit your boot laces on the point.
2 steps and days left!

Day 2 is here and step 2 of our 5 step kicking technique process!
2B = Step 2, Ball
Looking after the ball is the next step. As we said yesterday the ball has to be align the kicking leg. We should be able to hold the ball with one hand and it should drop straight over your kicking leg boot laces. If our wrist is bent the ball will not drop straight onto the kicking leg. You will need to adjust the way you hold the ball so your wrist is no longer bent.
Give it a go and let us know how you go!
Step 3 will be out tomorrow!
