A reminder that Yarra Yarra Rowing Club members, and friends of Colin from along the riverbank, are invited to join us at the club on:

Thursday 21 May from 7:00pm onwards

We will hold the christening of the club’s new Sykes eight, “Colin Johnston”, and celebrate the life of our friend and clubmate, Colin Johnston, who recently passed away.

Please come along to share stories, memories and raise a glass to Colin. We will miss him greatly and will continue to think of him every time the “Colin Johnston” takes to the water.

RV Open Day 2025

Come and have a chat to some friendly members of Yarra Yarra Rowing Club on Sunday 30th November. If you've rowed before, we can help you get back on the water again. Or come and try one of our Learn to Row programs!
The open day is on from 9:00 to 11:30am this Sunday!

Thinking about joining (or rejoining) a rowing club? Come down to Yarra Yarra on Sunday 30th November between 9:00am and 11:30am for a look around and a chat with some of our friendly members.

Best of luck to all the competitors for the Head of the Yarra on Saturday, and especially to all 6 crews from YYRC.

Afterwards, members and their guests are invited to a post HoTY BBQ in the YYRC club house. Food available and the bar will be open.

We look forward to welcoming back some of the interstate crews who call Yarra their 'home from home' whilst competing in this iconic race.

Very excited to announce that Yarra Yarra Rowing Club has won the RV Masters Premiership for 2025! The Club also placed joint 2nd in the Champion Club category!

We are also delighted that the following YYRC men placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the individual Male Masters winners - a clean sweep for YYRC!
