Want relief from migraines?

As a migraine sufferer, I understand how frustrating it can be! I am experimenting lately with a few natural remedies like prioritising sleep, staying hydrated and doing things that help to lower cortisol (completely separate post)

I hope I dont jinx myself, but I did some research and made this smoothie. No word of as lie, my migraines have disappeared! 

Within half an hour of drinking this, my 5-day migraine was gone! I've been having it every day since and believe me when I say it's an absolute game changer and tasty too πŸ˜‹ 

How? 🌱 Spinach for magnesium, 🍍 pineapple for anti-inflammatory benefits, πŸ₯’ cucumber to stay hydrated, 🌿 ginger for nausea relief, πŸ‹ lemon juice for antioxidants, and πŸ₯₯ coconut water for electrolytes. 

Migraine Relief Smoothie:

1 cup spinach 
1 cup cucumber
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1 thumb fresh ginger
1 tbsp lemon juice
1.5 cups coconut water

1. Add spinach, pineapple, cucumber, ginger, lemon juice and 1/2 the coconut water to a blender with the harder ingredients layered  closer to the blade. 

2. Blend until the ginger is well blended

3. Add the remaining coconut water, shake and continue to blend until smooth and creamy.

Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy πŸ˜‹

Motivation comes from taking action. When you start taking action, motivation follows

I get asked all the time "how do I get the motivation to (insert goal)" Let me tell you, come Monday morning I am the least motivated person to get up and start my week. However, I just put one foot infront of the other (pun intendedπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈwalking is how I start everyday) once I get going, endorphins are released and that motivation comes and I can keep going.

So, my answer is.... Just start, take the first step (what ever that is for you) Go for a 5min walk, walk through the door of the gym, reach out to a trainer for accountability and I promise motivation and momentum WILL follow.
