Another great night had at the Rising Sun Charitable Trust 4th Annual Charity Day on Saturday 28th February. A great turn out by the team to support an amazing sponsor. Once again Saul Swags - Genuine Australian-made Camping Swags donated an amazing prize for the raffle and one of our team members won a silent auction item.

Dear family, friends and followers.

On the 28th Feb, 2026 we are having our annual charity day at the amazing Iron Bark station.

I am seeking a business to help support the charity by donating the cost of hiring a mechanical bull for atleast 4 hours. We are trying to add new activities and keep things spicy.

I myself will donate $200 to the rider who can stay on the longest.

Even better if someone knows a business that supplies this activity and you can convince them to support such a great cause by gifting this service that would be amazing.

We support returned service members who are battling PTSD, please get behind our veterans and help make this day even more spectacular! 🐂

Today we Honor All Those Who Served.

On Remembrance Day, we acknowledge the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our country, from the ANZACs to those in recent conflicts.

We remember those who gave their lives, and those who returned home with invisible wounds, sadly ending their battle within.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.

With a long 11 hour day behind us, the team has had an amazing day. An early morning stint on Breakfast TV followed by a day full of sun, laughs and sore muscles. An unfortunate medivac of our team anchor meant a strategic shift in operations and how to approach the upcoming challenges given our much loved Blue is such integral part of the Joe’s team.
