Walid, a baby from Khan Younis in Gaza, was evacuated to Boston for neurosurgery. This is now his second surgery since he’s been in Boston and according to @heal.palestine he is recovering well with round-the-clock care and support from volunteers around the community. Some of the money gets donated through Chuffed and some goes to bank accounts for the organisations and people affected by the fires in Goongerah. Chuffed provide an option to share so I have.

Help Wallabia Wildlife Shelter rebuild after Goongerah fires Wallabia Wildlife Shelter (Rena and Joe's place) is the only refuge for wallabies, possums, gliders, birds and other wildlife for miles around in East Gippsland. It burnt down in the Goongerah fires.

Town of Goongerah devastated by fires The small community of Goongerah in East Gippsland has been horribly impacted by fires. All residents are safe and accounted for, but 10 people have lost their homes. The impact these fires have had on homes, wildlife and surrounding forest is devastating.

There are so many people supporting the Goongerah Community Fire Relief Fundraiser. Priscilla from Nourishing Herbs has donated some delicious teas to nurture and nourish us.
