Payne Haas is expected to return for NSW's Origin II squad, with reports indicating Apisai Koroisau will also be recalled in the only changes from Game I. Injured ho**er Blayke Brailey and dropped prop Jacob Saifiti are set to make way, while Addin Fonua-Blake is expected to shift to the extended bench.

Mitchell Moses will undergo a fitness test on his calf injury tomorrow, with the NSW star needing to prove his fitness to be named for Origin II. If Moses is ruled out, Ethan Strange is expected to start at five-eighth, while Isaiya Katoa is poised to earn a spot on the interchange bench.

Casey McLean left the field with an ankle issue and did not return, with the Penrith Panthers suspecting ankle impingement. McLean was seen testing the ankle on the sidelines, and if impingement is confirmed, he is expected to be available moving forward. Dolphins continued their red-hot form with a commanding 40-14 victory over the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville. Leading 16-10 at halftime, the Dolphins powered away with three second-half tries to claim their fifth consecutive win. The result lifts them level on points with fourth-placed Manly Sea Eagles and above the Newcastle Knights on points differential, while the Cowboys slip to ninth on the ladder.

Gold Coast Titans produced one of the greatest victories in club history, coming from behind twice to defeat the Brisbane Broncos 28-23 in a thrilling derby clash. Keano Kini scored a sensational solo try, while Jayden Campbell crossed for two tries as the Titans held on for a memorable win. Enari Tuala has signed a two-year contract extension with the Canterbury Bulldogs, keeping him at Belmore until the end of 2028. The versatile outside back has been one of Canterbury’s most consistent performers in 2026, impressing at both centre and wing. Bulldogs General Manager Phil Gould praised Tuala’s team-first attitude and versatility, describing him as one of the club’s most important players.

AJ Jones and Jed Reardon have extended their futures with the Canterbury Bulldogs. Jones has signed a Top 30 contract for 2027 after progressing through the Bulldogs' pathways system and making his NRL debut this season, while Reardon has secured a Development deal for 2027 following his first-grade debut in Round 12. The club views both 21-year-olds as key parts of its future.

Emre Guler will join Wakefield Trinity in 2027 after agreeing to a three-year deal through to the end of 2029. The experienced middle forward has played more than 120 NRL games for the Canberra Raiders and St George Illawarra Dragons, and will add further size and experience to Wakefield's pack as the club continues to strengthen its roster for the future.

Brad Arthur has signed a two-year contract extension with Leeds Rhinos, keeping him at the club until at least the end of the 2028 season. Melbourne Storm held on for a thrilling 32-30 victory over the Newcastle Knights in an entertaining back-and-forth contest. The sides traded tries throughout the match, but a crucial late score created by Queensland teammates Harry Grant and Trent Loiero with just over 10 minutes remaining proved the difference as the Storm secured a hard-fought win.

Sydney Roosters produced a clinical performance to defeat the Canberra Raiders 26-0, doing all their damage early before defending superbly to keep the home side scoreless. The halves combination of Sam Walker and Daly Cherry-Evans controlled the match, while Origin centre Rob Toia impressed and returning winger Mark Nawaqanitawase celebrated his comeback from injury with a hat-trick of tries. Jack Howarth has been ruled out for the Melbourne Storm this week after failing to recover from a quad contusion. Manly Sea Eagles climbed into the top four with a gritty 28-14 victory over the South Sydney Rabbitohs at 4 Pines Park.

After trailing 8-0 and losing fullback Clayton Faulalo to the sin bin early, Manly fought back impressively under coach Kieran Foran. The Sea Eagles' defence proved the difference, although Faulalo later suffered a hamstring injury. Manly are hopeful star fullback Tom Trbojevic will return after the Round 15 bye.
