I’m excited to share that I’ll be a guest speaker at the Epping Mental Health Professionals' Network on 21 May 2026! 🥰🎤
This will be my third time presenting with MHPN. It’s such an honour to return and continue supporting fellow mental health professionals. Thank you Dr. Francis Nii Lanteye Acquah for the invitation. 🙏
I’ll be speaking on:
“Supporting the wellbeing of mental health professionals in home-based practice: How to switch off work thoughts during personal time.”
Working from home has become a normal part of mental health practice, but without clear boundaries, it’s easy for work to spill into personal time, leading to rumination, emotional fatigue, and burnout.
In this session, I’ll be sharing both personal insights and practical strategies to help you mentally switch off at the end of the workday and create simple rituals that support emotional boundaries, recovery, and wellbeing.
You’ll walk away with:
✨ Insight into why switching off feels difficult
✨ Practical tools to reduce rumination after work
✨ A simple end-of-day ritual to support boundaries and recovery

I’m excited to share that I’ve started a new position as a Clinical Provider at Intellect! 🥰🎉
This is an opportunity I gratefully accepted back in December last year. 🙏
In this role, I’ll be delivering therapy to both EAP-funded employees and self-funded individuals via the Intellect platform.
As a mental health clinician, I’ll be providing evidence-based psychological interventions to support clients in navigating mental health challenges and strengthening their overall wellbeing. 💕
And for those wondering, I’m still very much continuing my speaking and coaching work alongside this role. 😊👍
I feel incredibly grateful to expand my impact across clinical therapy, coaching, and speaking, and to support individuals and organisations around the world to move from stress, anxiety and burnout toward clarity, calm, and sustainable wellbeing. ✨
Here’s to meaningful work, aligned growth, and making mental health support more accessible! 🥂
I’m really looking forward to this next chapter! 🚀♥️

Recently, I had the pleasure of delivering a mental wellbeing session to 50+ executives and employees at Hitachi Energy. 😊🎤✨
Throughout the session, participants reflected on why their mental wellbeing matters and felt encouraged to seek support when needed.
They also learned practical, science-backed techniques to manage stress and stay calm 💚during conflict, both at work and at home.
The session blended personal storytelling, hands-on strategies, and interactive discussions, creating a supportive space for participants to reflect, share, and support one another.
I’m grateful to work with organisations like Hitachi Energy, who recognise that sustainability is about people, and are committed to fostering workplaces where employees can thrive and be at their best. 🌟
📊 Why this matters for every workplace:
- Mental ill-health costs Australian businesses around $39 billion each year in lost productivity, absenteeism, and presenteeism (Productivity Commission, 2020).
- Stress and burnout contribute to 1 in 5 employees taking time off work annually due to mental health challenges (Beyond Blue & TNS Social Research, 2014).
- For every $1 invested in mental health initiatives, organisations gain an average return of $2.30 through improved performance and reduced absenteeism (PwC Australia & Beyond Blue, 2014).
These numbers tell a clear story: investing in employee wellbeing isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s a strategic advantage.
If your organisation values mental health and wants to create a culture where people feel calm, supported, and able to perform at their best✨, I’d love to connect and explore how I can support your team. 🤝

I’m a TEDx Finalist! 😊🎤✨
The old perfectionist version of me would’ve said, “It doesn’t count unless you win.”
The old me didn’t know how to celebrate progress, only perfection.
But years of inner work have taught me something powerful:
Success isn’t only in the outcome; it’s in every brave step we take along the way.
So today, I’m celebrating becoming one of the TEDx finalists with TEDxUQ!✨
I didn’t make it to the final stage, but I walked away with something even more meaningful - growth and gratitude for being part of such a professional and competitive process.
I still remember back in my days at Monash University, I once received a Credit on a paper and was devastated.
My teacher looked at me and said, “Vân, you’re an HD student, but this isn’t an HD paper.”
In that moment, I realised: my grades reflect my skills, not my worth.
Now, I measure success differently.
Not by grades, job titles, or achievements, but by the person I become through the process.
By the resilience to rise after setbacks.
By the courage to keep showing up.
By the strength to keep believing, even when it’s hard.
🌙 Tonight, before you go to bed, celebrate one mental success you’ve had today.
Maybe you showed up even though you felt anxious.
Maybe you finished that project when you wanted to give up.
Maybe you spoke up in a meeting even though you were nervous.
Write it down. Say it out loud.
Because every time you do, you remind yourself that your worth isn’t tied to what you achieve, but to who you are.
Keep believing in yourself and keep going!
Much love ♥️

Life is too short to be worrying about every little thing.
So often, we let worries take up too much space in our minds.
We second-guess decisions, imagine worst-case outcomes on projects, and worry about how others perceive our work.
But most of these worries never come true.
They only steal our peace, focus, and joy.
Imagine how much lighter and freer you’d feel if you let go of the “what ifs,” trusted yourself, and chose peace instead.
Letting go of unnecessary worries isn’t just good for your well-being, it’s also beneficial for your work.
Clearer minds lead to better decisions, improved productivity and focus, and more purposeful action.
💭 What’s one uplifting thought you can choose today over a worry?

5 unhealthy habits you need to stop if you want to overcome high-functioning anxiety
High-functioning anxiety can be hard to spot, especially when you look like you’ve got it all together.
But beneath the surface, many high achievers are stuck in silent patterns that slowly drain their energy and peace.
Here are 5 unhealthy habits you must let go:
❌1. Getting stuck in the “what if”s:
Always imagining the worst-case scenarios keeps your mind on high alert and your body in constant stress mode.
❌2. Overcommitting:
Saying yes to everyone and everything might look productive, but it quietly builds burnout, resentment, and exhaustion.
❌3. Talking down to yourself:
That harsh inner critic might sound like it’s helping but it’s really just killing your confidence and fueling anxiety.
❌4. Ignoring your body’s signals:
Skipping rest, powering through pain, and numbing discomfort only make you feel more disconnected and overwhelmed.
❌5. Wearing a “strong” mask:
Pretending you’re always fine keeps others at a distance and makes you feel even more isolated and overwhelmed.
These are patterns I see so often in my coaching work, and ones I’ve had to unlearn myself.
Which one are you ready to let go of? 💬
Much love ♥️

When things feel overwhelming, remember...
One thought at a time…
One task at a time…
One day at a time…
Focus on what’s right in front of you…
You don’t have to do it all…
Just the next clear step…
You’re doing better than you think…
Keep showing up, one moment at a time…
You’ve got this.
Much love ♥️
