Reposted from Following the release of the updated Spartan Australia & NZ race schedule we have been informed that we have a clash of dates with a local OCR event in Auckland.

As the global leader in the OCR industry, with a clear commitment to grow OCR in New Zealand, Spartan has made the decision to bring forward the rescheduled event to a week earlier, with the Spartan Auckland Super and NZ Championships now confirmed as 14th and 15th May 2022.

We apologise for any confusion here and appreciate the support of all New Zealand and Australian racers as we strive to stage the biggest and best OCR race ever held in New Zealand in May next year.

New Race Dates

Following consultation with our Government partners and on the back of the recent COVID lockdowns in Australia & New Zealand; we have decided to reschedule the remaining 2021 Spartan events to the below dates:

- Spartan Melbourne Super: 4-5 December 2021
- Spartan Bright Ultra: 11-13 February 2022
- Spartan NSW Trifecta (new venue: Pheasant Wood Circuit): 1-3 April 2022
- Spartan Auckland Super: 21-22 May 2022

We believe that postponing the events will help navigate the ongoing COVID challenges and allow the Spartan Au/NZ team the opportunity to deliver the races that we know and love in a COVID safe format.

We hope this will alleviate issues about not being able to make it due to border closures and quarantine on either end.

All previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates.
There is no need to contact customer service, all racers will receive communications over the next few weeks to confirm race entries.

We understand that this might not suit some, but be ok for others. What we can say is that now we have a plan that we think is viable, to bring Spartan back to you.

Stay strong, stay focused and we look forward to seeing everyone back on course. 💪

Looking for an awesome school holiday activity for the kids?

Spartan are bringing back their kids only event to the Latrobe Valley these April school holidays, only an hour from Melbourne 😀

Such a great way for kids to get active with some of the same obstacles the adults use! 💪🏃‍♀️🏃 The event is being run over 2 days... Thursday 8 and Friday 9 April, with waves running from 9am till about 2pm.
