JUNIOR PRESENTATION!!!

Thank you to all who made Sunday such a wonderful day.

A big thank you to all the players, parents, and coaches who were involved in our juniors this season, that included over 25 players in 4 teams, and one premiership.

Congratulations to all our award winners including Harvey, who also hit the most runs and took the most wickets in his competition, along with Josh who scored the third most runs in his competition.

A final big thank you to junior coordinators Simon Pryor and Nick Frayne who have done an incredible job in building our junior program over the past few years.

Your U/11 Gold Premiers!!!!

Congratulations to the boys on a wonderful effort, knocking off the top of table Diamond Creek by 10 runs (5-96 off 20, 6-86 off 20).

Well done to Nick Frayne and all the parents who helped over the journey to secure the clubs first junior flag in 9 seasons 💛💙

GRAND FINAL DAY!!!

Today is the day!! Our u/11 boys, led by Nick Frayne go against Diamond Creek at Coventry Oval.

It’s the clubs first juniors grand final in five seasons, so we can’t understate just how important tonight’s game is for the club.

Let’s come together as a club and show the boys our support, hope to see you all there tonight 💛💙

2ND XI PLAYER OF THE DAY - SEMI FINAL DAY ONE

It’s a freezing winter’s evening. Snow falls steadily, pattering lightly against the window. The light is slowly fading as fingers begin to throb with the early stages of frostbite. It’s time to rush inside, trudge through the soft white powder, rip off the gloves and find safety. Smooth jazz plays softly, warmth rushes at you, easing off your coat. There’s a fire crackling away, a bottle of red wine open on the counter and a hearty beef stew bubbling gently on the stove. As you look towards the fire, you see Steven ‘Soupa’ Giammario - Lower Eltham’s safety, the warm winter blanket.

Our winter warmer was in form more vintage than the fine red on the counter today, ripping the heart out of Banyule with swing, seam and guile. His four wickets make him the player of the day for today’s first day of the semi final. Long live our winter warmer, our safety, our Soupa.

The People’s Team XI go up against Banyule in a fierce 2nd v 3rd matchup.

WE ARE INTO A GRAND FINAL!!!!

A fantastic effort from the boys to win a last over nailbiter!

After being 2/30 after 10 overs, chasing 75. It was Marley Frayne who begun the comeback smashing 15* before Zac, Ziggy, and Kai finished the game off.

The boys will face another Diamond Creek team in the grand final next Wednesday.

Well done boys, great job 💛💙
