Celebrating Italian Culture, Heritage and Community

Melbourne Italian Festa is a free Italian event, where past and present Italian traditions and culture are brought together to create the fabric that is multicultural Melbourne.

In the spirit of what the Festa once used to be, this year we have been able to extend the festivities to include not only "Piazza Italia” but also Lygon Street (from Queensberry Street to Grattan Street).

What makes Festa special?

Performances & Live Music
A full entertainment program which will include performances by various local and international artists and multicultural live music.

Sport, Community Workshops, arts & culture
Community sporting activities and attractions for children and families, such as soccer tournament, giant board games, soccer tables, face painting, workshops, recycling program, “burattini” show and much more!

Food & Auto
It wouldn’t be an Italian Festa without a banquet of delicious Italian street food and beverages offered by merchants and vendors.
Melbourne Italian Festa will also host the Grand Finale of the Targa Florio Australia Tribute and presentation ceremony for 2019.
