Home, unpacked and somewhat recovered from SPOKEN Always such an awesome event, with a lot of very talented builders pushing the limits of design and fabrication, it’s hard not to be inspired. For us, we pushed ourselves into territory only a few have ventured into with our 32” hardtail, a vision that could only be achieved with the help of jetsetrims Maxxis Bike Australia KWT Imports and Bicycle Parts Wholesale. Maxxis gave us the opportunity to showcase the 32” Dissector tires mounted to a set of unreleased Jetset rims. This combo coupled with our own geometry and frame design made the big wheels look “normal”. This bike was complimented with epic build kits from Full Speed Ahead | MTB TRP Cycling Components and FUNN MTB Australia and a full bike check will be coming up soon.
As we are BMXers’ it would be rude not to showcase a BMX. This bike was build for rad dads to ride anything from park to pump track or just cruising around. We were fortunate to display the black prototype FUNN MTB Australia DJ saddle which was the perfect addition for this style of bike. Lastly, the smallest bike we have ever made, created the biggest splash, the balance bike; like all our bikes, it was handmade, custom made 12” 1 1/8 forks, our own frame design all made from leftover 4130 tubing. Throw on some knobby tires, Full Speed Ahead | MTB headset and FUNN MTB Australia stem, bars, grips and seat clamp and this is one kitted out mini machine. As always, all our bikes were powder coated by Haydn PPC COATINGS who always smashes it out of the ball park (even when we give him Uber tight timelines).
